Erta Alé is continuously active volcano in Ethiopia with a constantly churning lava lake in its crater. It's said the lava lake has been in constant movement for the last 100 years.
WE made Erta Alé because if a sauce is going to be sold in our store, or by Rebecca and me, it's going to have to taste AWESOME. So no ordinary extract sauce would do.
Erta Alé combines all the good elements found in our sauce-making style, with Thai peppers, cayenne, Ghost Peppers and a 3 Million and 6 Million SHU capsaicin extract added at a 7:1 ratio, respectively.
